We are looking for an enthusiastic WordPress Developer looking to improve their knowledge and problem-solving skills within a senior team. You will be working for our Project Director with a team that includes a UX Designer, Web Developer and Support Manager, learning new techniques quickly and helping us develop our process for a wide range of clients and website sizes.

You will be working closely with a variety of people in our team, so it’s important that you are as good at communicating as you are at coding.

Our preferred stack on WordPress sites is:

• Elementor Pro theme builder
• Elementor custom widgets where needed
• Twig templates & SASS where needed
• Our own in-house framework plugin for more complex data management
• Other specialist plugins where needed

Our developers use the following software tools outside WordPress:

• PHP Storm
• GitLab
• Gulp
• Microsoft Teams

You need to have these skills:

• Frontend WordPress development
• WordPress Theme development
• HTML/CSS
• JavaScript
• Procedural PHP8

It would be great if you have any of these skills:

• Object Orientated PHP8
• DevOps
• React
• SQL experience
• Plugin development
• ISO27001 experience

We are a design and marketing agency based in Barnstaple, North Devon. We are lucky to live and work in one of only seven UNESCO biospheres in the UK, an area with so much moorland and coastline around that there is always somewhere left to explore. As a new team member your place of work would preferably be our Barnstaple Office, however we are open to hybrid work patterns if needed.
